Chief Minister directs officials to crack the case of Jewar, Gautambuddhnagar at the earliest

Lucknow, June 1, 2017: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji today directed officials to crack the Jewar case at the earliest. He also said that stringent of action should be taken against the perpetrators of the crime, so that nobody dares to repeat it in future.
Chief Minister today met the victims of the incident at his Shastri Bhawan office. During the meeting, also present were legislator Mr.Dhirendra Singh and former vice-chairman of the Jewar Nagar Panchayat Mr.Mohammad Yunus. The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the victim family and assured them of all possible help.
Yogi also announced a financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakh to the dependents of the deceased and said that justice will be given to the family. He further directed officials to ensure educational, financial and security assistance to the family,
including women.
The Chief Minister was apprised by legislator Mr.Dhirendra Singh that between the year 2015-2016, many loot and other crimes took place on the Yamuna Expressway but a large number of cases were never registered. And whatever cases were registered, adequate investigations were not done and hence the criminals are roaming around freely, the legislator further informed Yogi.
The Chief Minister reiterated the commitment of his government of no compromise with law and order and that the state government has made up its mind that there would be no place for crime and criminals in the state.
Mr. Mohammad Yunus said that after meeting the chief minister he was sure that justice will be given to the victims and the guilty will be brought to book.
