Chhota Bheem comes to Avon

Ludhiana, November 8, 2013: Avon Cycles adds yet another series to its illustrious range of bicycle models with the launch of Chhota Bheem cycles. The company known for innovative ideas and tapping the latest in the market is all set to reach out to Chhota Bheem fans across the country. Chhota Bheem cycles for kids’ will be available across all leading dealerships in India very soon. 

Interacting with the media persons, Onkar Singh Pahwa, Chairman, Avon Cycles said, “Owing to the popularity of the cartoon character, we decided to treat fans with a cycle, which exclusively boasts of the characteristics of Chhota Bheem. Now kids will not only enjoy the series on the television but can also go for fun rides on Avon Chhota Bheem Cycles.”

 The series will have 6 different models for the age group of 3 to 10 years with sizes varying from 12” X 1.75” to 20” X 1.75”.  The cycles come in attractive Chhota Bheem designs and eye catching colors.

Avon Cycles began its ventures with a humble beginning in 1948. Beginning with the production of Bicycle saddles and brakes manufacturing unit in 1948, the Pahwa’s set out on a long and arduous journey. Soon with dedicated efforts and will to succeed, Avon cycles came into being in 1952, when the first batch of 250 bicycles rolled out of its plant.  

The bicycle facility today is spread over a land site 145,000 square meters, manufacturing over 2 million cycles annually with the aid of hi-tech machinery and state-of-the -art production unit.
