Ludhiana News/ National Kaizen Competition at CICU Complex on Dec 24

Ludhiana, December 23, 2013: Avtar Singh, President, Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana said that National Kaizen Competition by far one of the most unique and exclusive of its kind will be held at CICU Complex on December 24, which is being organised 5th time by Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings, Ludhiana.  
Kaizen have been proved to bring quantum benefits to the company and employees whilst simplifying processes, eliminating waste, saving costs and other intangible benefits. The objective of this Competition is to motivate for practicing Kaizen & make it a way of life. The response, to this Competition is overwhelming, both from participating teams and attending delegates, as well as Trade & Industrial bodies in the region who have been enthusiastic in their support. 25 companies, whose experienced employees will present their Kaizens in front of more than 300 audiences. Sh. A.P. Sharma, GM Central Tool Room, Sh. B.S. Sangha, GM Institute of Auto Parts & Hand Tools Technology and Er. S.S. Grewal, HoD, LCET, Katani (Ludhiana) will select Award Winning Teams under various categories i.e. SMED. safety, poka yoke, energy saving, new product design, solid waste management, automation, environment, cost saving, product appearance improvement, improvement with it activities & up-gradation of management systems.
It will a packed program, deliberating on number of continuous improvement suggestions, which will be shared for implementation at all levels relevance to stakeholders engaged in Trade & Industrial activities.
