CHD Group organizes Free Health Checkup & Blood donation camp for people of Karnal

Karnal: On the occasion of “world osteoporosis day”, CHD Developers organised a free health check up and blood donation camp at CHD City, Karnal which benefited over 370 people of Karnal. A team of specialist doctors and paramedical staff from Park Hospital diagnosed and gave free consultation to the patients. Apart from bone density test various other tests were also conducted including Blood Sugar testing; General Body Check Up; ECG; ENT. Free medicines were also distributed to the workers. The Group will be organizing these camps every year with the aim of extending health and safety measures to its residents and employees and as part of its efforts at extending wide support to community welfare initiatives. A blood donation camp in association with the Virk Blood Bank was also held in which residents and employees of CHD Developers donated blood, a lifeline in an emergency. The employees and workers of new CHD project “Green Park Residences” also availed the facility of free health checkup and also donated blood. Mr. Gaurav Mittal, Managing Director, CHD Developers said, "At CHD, we believe in the old saying – ‘A healthy body leads to a healthy mind’. Our commitment towards health resonates with the values our company upholds as a socially responsible organization. We are delighted to reach out to so many people through this health camp.” He further added, “The health of our workers and staff is of prime importance to us and therefore, we constantly strive to provide our employees and construction laborers with health checkup facilities. Most of their time is spent on our project sites, and it becomes of utmost importance to conduct these camps regularly for safeguarding their health. Such camps not only help in diagnosing the health conditions of the workers but also in preventing the onset of any kind of disease. Speaking on this occasion the doctors advised all participants to look for personal hygiene and care, both for themselves and their family members. They also educated them on the ways and benefits of being healthy. The free check-up and consultation time was from 9 AM to 2 PM. In total Virk Blood Bank collected 50 units of blood through this drive.
