Cereer Counselling Workshop in HMV

Jalandhar, March 7, 2016: A workshop was organized by Career Counselling Cell of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya on Group Discussion under the directions of Principal Dr.Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj. The resource person for the workshop was M.D. of IMS Mr.Kamlesh Sajnani, who was accompanied by Mr. Dikshant Dabar (Director) and Ms. Neha (Centre Manager). Mr. Sajnani was welcomed by Head of the Physics Deptt. Mrs. Renuka Bhatti. Mr. Sajnani focused on presenting logic and content in group discussions. He strengthened in the Make in India project. He discussed about the social perspective in India, as the citizens are divided between economy and socialism giving rise to social capitalism. Mr. Sajnani focused on the content in GD’s. He said that we should compare, what one is talking about and we should not just accept opinions rather act smart and remove ourselves from the basic instinct of beliefs. To enhance active participation in the presence of students he asked students to engage in mock GD’s. The students discussed in groups about two topics, firstly should Mc Donald’s be banned in India and other should Lovish marriages be banned. The students put down their view points and enthusiastically presented counterpoints. Mr. Sajnani told students to contribute and be confident. He educated that academics is not entirely wrong but rather prepares you for the basics. 4 students were given prizes in the practical rounds of G.D. Dr. Seema Khanna, Incharge Career Counseling Cell also added her inputs on GD’s about the actualities in real time scenario. On this occasion, Mrs. Kajal Puri, Member of the Cell and Mrs. Rama Sharma were also present.
