New Delhi, September 12, 2014: The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a Case Under Section 120-B, 420, 468 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 13(2) r/w 13(1) (d) of Prevention of Corruption Act. 1988 against a Deputy Commissioner, Navodaya Vidhalaya Samiti, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).
It was alleged that the Public Servant during the year 2013, had misused his official position in the matter of recruitment/appointment of some teachers by way of changing marks allotted to them by the Selection Committee, after applying fluid/replacing some of the original answer sheets.
Searches were conducted at the premises of the accused at Barabanki (U.P). Incriminating documents recovered during the searches, are under scrutiny.
Further investigation is continuing.
