Capt Amarinder has failed to maintain law & order in Punjab: Sampla

Says, Punjab CM should take immediate steps to control deteriorating law & order in State
Chandigarh, October 30, 2017: Murder of Hindu Shiv Sena district chief, Vikram Sharma in Amritsar; killing of SAD Sarpanch Manpreet Kaur’s husband Harkeerat in village Burj of Sangrur; and knife attack on a journalist’s wife at his home- these incidents that too in one single day paint the true picture of deteriorating law & order situation in Punjab. This was stated by President Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab Vijay Sampla here today.
Coming down heavily on Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, Sampla said, “Be it the murder of RSS leader Ravindra Gosain in Ludhiana a few days back or the killing of a Church priest in broad daylight, or Political vendetta unleashed against SAD-BJP leaders and workers at the behest of Congress leaders and their supporters such incidents have been commonly taking place ever since Capt. Amarinder Singh has come into power. This is ample evidence to state the Capt. Amarinder Singh government has failed to maintain law & order situation in Punjab”.
The state BJP chief said that Punjab is a border-lying state which has witnessed the dark days of terrorism. “Capt. Amarinder Singh should bear this in mind and take immediate steps to prevent the situation from deteriorating further”, said Sampla.
