Campaign to weed our obsolete files intensified in Punjab civil secretariat

According an official spokesperson the campaign started in the morning with every department with classification  and documentation of files as per official norms and separating obsolete files. The care is being taken to organise the filing system in scientific and modern manner keeping in view safety of record and its easy retrieval. 

Chandigarh, October 14, 2014: The campaign initiated by Chief Secretary, Sarvesh Kaushal under Swachh Bharat Mission to weed out old and obsolete files started today with Secretary General Administration M.S Narang overseeing its implementation in all branches.
According an official spokesperson the campaign started in the morning with every department with classification  and documentation of files as per official norms and separating obsolete files. The care is being taken to organise the filing system in scientific and modern manner keeping in view safety of record and its easy retrieval.  
The spokesperson said that each branch head has been made accountable for completion of this campaign in scheduled timeline and convey its progress to general administration department. M.S. Narang secretary General Administration accompanied by Ramesh Kumar, Under Secretary General Administration and Rakesh Kumar, Administrative Officer today visited every branch to monitor the progress of the campaign.
