Jalandhar, February 29, 2016: Cambridge International Schools, Jalandhar, welcomed forty four delegates and their team leaders Ms Rachel Morgan, Mr Carl Longmore and Mr Marc Smale, from Wolverhampton University, U.K in an effort to build a strong foundation based on different teaching practices followed in India and England. This programme envisaged by the Cambridge team is aimed to build a global family keeping in mind, aspects like cultural understanding, unity in diversity and the need to familiarize with cross-cultural education systems. It is going to be a productive knowledge-sharing experience where the teaching fraternity from Cambridge will exchange ideas with the delegates from England. Lesson planning strategies, effective teaching, child involvement in the development of lesson plans, assessment and evaluation are some of the key components of this dynamic interaction. Besides evolving better and effective methods to enhance teaching skills, the delegates would also catch glimpses of the way of life in Punjab.
