Jalandhar, September 2, 2015: Marching forward and upward Cambridge School for Girls (CISFG) has shown its mettle, once again, in the sports field. The students of CISFG have brought laurels for themselves and the school Swimming Sahodya Inter-School Competition (2015) was hosted in Cambridge International School, Phagwara. Students of Cambridge School for Girls participated with exuberance and bagged many medals. The competition was held under different categories. The winners are:
Vanshika (class VI E) won Silver Medal (50m- Back stroke) Bronze (4x100m-Medley, 4x100m-Free Relay)
Ishita (class VI B) won Bronze (50m-Butterfly stroke) Silver (4x50m-Relay, 4x50m-Medley Relay)
Chahat Sanan (class VII C) won Silver (4x100m-Free Relay, 4x50-Medley Relay)
Vridhi (class VI C) won Silver (4x50m-Free Relay,4x50m-Medley Relay)
Jiya (class 4D) won Silver (4x50m-Free Relay,4x50m-Medley Relay)
Riya Gupta (class IX B) won Gold (100m-Butterfly stroke)Silver(50m-Butterfly stroke,50m-Back stroke,4x100m-Relay, 4x100m-Medley Relay)
Mehr (class IX B) won Silver (100m-Breast stroke,50m-Breast stroke,4x100m-Relay,4x100m Medley Relay)

Savya (class VIII E) won Bronze (4x100m-Relay, 4x100m-Medley relay,50m-Back stroke, 100m Back stroke)
Parsidha (class VIII E) won Bronze (4x100m Relay,4x100m Medley Relay)
Sarah (class IX B) won Bronze (4x100m Relay, 4x100m Medley Relay)
Muskaan (class VI B) won Silver (4x50m Relay, 4x50 Medley Relay)
Hitharthi (class VIII A) won Silver (4x100m Medley Relay, 4x100m Free Relay)
The players were charged with the motivation and spirit to excel. The result of these Sports events shows the hard work of the sports faculty headed by Ms. Harpreet Kaur under the benign eye of the Principal, Ms. Deepa Dogra. It speaks volumes of the facilities and opportunities provided by the school to guide its students to Dream Dare Do.
