Ferozepur, October 3, 2016: Amidst the tense situation on Borders, the BSF personnel from Ferozepur Sector showed a gesture of goodwill and humanity and handed over a twelve years old Pakistani boy identified as Mohammad Tanveer who entered Indian territory to drink water while he was grazing his cattle last night at Border Out Post DT Mal.
The boy was apprehended by the troops of 137 Battalion. When questioned, he identified himself as a resident of Village Dhari in Kasur District. R.K.Thapa, DIG, BSF, Ferozepur Sector said that since nothing objectionable was found from the boy, today he was handed over to Pakistan rangers at Indo-Pak Joint Check Post Hussainiwala on humanitarian grounds.
