BSF JAWAN ARRESTED FOR SUPPLYING INFORMATION TO PAKISTAN INTELLIGENCE SERVICES

Ferozepur, November 4, 2018: A BSF jawan identified as Shiekh Riazuddin son of Shamsuddin Shiekh, resident of Village Renpura in Latur district of Maharashtra, who was presently posted in Ferozpur Sector, has been arrested on the charge of sharing vital information with Pakistani agents. Two mobile phones and seven SIM cards have also been recovered from him. As per the sources, Riazuddin was sending the information which includes photographs of fencing and roads, contact number of senior BSF officials and other secret information to one Mirja Faisal, who is ISI agent from his mobile numbers.

Sources revealed that he was under scanner of the BSF intelligence for his suspicious activities for the last few months.

A case under sections ¾ Official secret act 1923, 3 National Security Act was lodged against the accused at Mamdot police station (Case number 121 dated 03.11.2018) following the complaint lodged by the Deputy Commandant of 29th Battalion of BSF.

Ranjit Singh, Investigation Officer said that the accused BSF jawan was produced in the court and was given five days police demand.
