Dharamshala, January 9, 2018: All the ministers of the Jai ram’s cabinet have agreed to contribute in the CM relief fund in HP. This was informed by the CM Thakur in a press conference held in the Vidhan Sabha Dharamshala after the first session of the winter sitting of HP Assembly in Tapovan Dharamshala on Tuesday.
Thakur said, “The CM relief fund, which was meant to help poor people in medical and other necessities, was totally exhausted by the outgoing congress government. And for immediate help of the applicant the cabinet members agreed to pay rupees one lakh each to make it workable. I also request the public not to spent on flowers, Caps and Shawls etc to welcome me and the ministers and instead pay that amount in CM relief fund.” Talking to Media in a PC at Dharamshala Thakur said that he is also against the tradition of touching the feet of the ministers and appeal the public to avoid the tradition.
He said that the chairman of Boards and Corporations shall only be appointed there where it us not avoidable, to save the unnecessary expenditure.

CM said, “Rs 46500 crore is the loan on the state and government is thinking hard to extract the ways to minimize it. We shall also meet the central government on this issue. But the development works there shall be no scarcity of the funds.”
In a reply to a question Thakur said, “Predecessor state government has filed so many cases against BJP men and its organizations, we are examining these cases. Those found registered merely on political rivalry, may be withdrawn. This will include cases against HPCA too.”
On Mafia business in the state the CM said that their day shall not be easy now on. The government shall come out with a solid policy on drug, mining, transfer and other mafias.
He said there was a question mark over the law and order situation in the previous years in the state, he specially mention Gudia and Hoshiar Chand cases. He said, “We have to rebuilt public’s trust on the state police.” The government will soon start Gudia and Hoshiar help lines in Dharamshala, Mandi and Shimla where the help calls will be monitored from CM office, where 48 hours report shall be a necessity.”
He said that the traditional winter stay of the CM in Dharamshala and surrounding areas shall continue for the time being.
Prior to it on the first day of the winter session of the Himachal assembly the protem speaker Ramesh Dhawala, ministered the oath to all the members toady in Dharamshala.
