Hyderabad, August 3, 2017: Sathguru Management Consultants, a leading Hyderabad based company had organized their Blood Donation Camp as a part of their of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, ‘Sankalp’ at Vishwa Vishwani Institute of Systems & Management today.

The camp was organized with a view to save those lives who are in dire need of blood but couldn’t get access due lack of proper supply. It was overseen by a team of well-equipped and trained medical attendants and an enthusiastic Sankalp team who made all the necessary arrangements to ensure safety, hygiene and comfort of the donors.

The initiative had students from the institute participating with an intention of contributing for the social benefit of those in need of blood. The blood collected from this initiative will be supplied for free to the patients suffering from Thalassemia, a rare genetic blood disorder which is carried by 4% of the population and children suffering from cancer.

Speaking on the occasion Ms. Raja Rajeswari, General Manager – Sankalp “ Since 2007 has collected more than 700 units of blood and For the first time Sankalp is collaborating with Vishwa Vishwani Institute of Systems & Management to support the cause. We are very happy that young students are coming forward to give hope to children fighting thalassemia and cancer”

Dr Bharat Bhushan Singh, Director, Vishwa Vishwani Institute of Systems & Management said “ This activity is a part of extracurricular activities we take up every year as a part of our social outreach, We hope that the patients suffering from thalassemia will benefit greatly from this.”
