Blood Donation Camp at KMV

Jalandhar, February 1, 2016: Red Ribbon Club and Red Cross Society of  Kanya Maha Vidyalaya in collaboration with Lions Club organised a Blood Donation Camp.  On this occasion Dr.Gagandeep from Civil Hospital along with his team was present. 65 students of KMV donated blood with enthusiasm.  A Chart making competition “Khoondan Mahdaan” was organized in which Ms. Anshu (B.Sc. Non Med. Sem-II) got first prize, Ms. Neha (B.Sc. Biotech Sem-IV) got second prize, Ms. Kamalpreet (B.Sc. Med. Sem. IV) got third prize, Ms. Sakshi (BCA Sem VI) and Ms. Hina (B.Com (R) Sem-II) bagged consolation prize.  The principal of KMV Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma and Dr. Gagandeep gave prizes to the winners of the competition.  Madam Principal encouraged the students who had donated blood and said that this is a very noble deed as it can save the lives of many people.  Dr. Madhumeet, Dr. Manju, Dr. Sadhna Tandon, Mrs. Anupam and Mrs. Ashima were present on the occasion.
