Blood Donation Camp at Brilliance World School

Panchkula, February 21, 2016: Brilliance World School , Panchkula , in collaboration with The Red Cross Society & Red Cross Institute of Technology(RIIT), organised a Blood Donation Camp. “The idea behind the camp was also to raise level of sensitivity of students towards important social causes. The educators explained to them their responsibilities towards society and the pivotal role of blood donation. It is noteworthy that many parents realized the ‘need’ for blood donation, this is the reason why they came forward to donate blood today.” Said Shyam Sunder, Chairman, Brilliance World School. The donors were awarded with souvenirs & certificates to make the event memorable for them. The blood was collected by a Medical team from The Red Cross Society, Panchkula.
The Blood Donation Camp was followed by a ‘Parents Management Meet’ in which experts shared many useful tips on parenting & self-management. The students of Brilliance World presented a Choreography on the valuable role of a mother in the life of children. All those present took an oath to counter female foeticide and also to respect senior citizens in society. Senior students of RIIT enthralled the audience with some melodies as well. The vote of thanks was given by Niranjana Chatterjee, Principal of Brilliance World.
