Ludhiana, October 6, 2016: PCTE Festaweek's stage was full of colors and a variety of cultural and western dance performances were showcased by the college students in Koshish event. A variety of international dance performances in which students performed Chinese and African dance performances were followed by Indian group dance event in which teams competed to each other by highlighting a variety of Indian dance performances.

The stage was colorful with phulkari suits and boys in Punjabi dresses. These events were followed by Mr. And Miss. PCTE (senior wing)- an event with two rounds of casual and coporate wear. Around 65 students walked the ramp with the best of attires they have. The shortlisted 12 students will compete for the finale tomorrow in their evening wear.

The mood on the campus was upbeat, and all the students immersed themselves in the festive spirit. Later, a fashion show was organized on the main stage where the 20 junior wing teams competed to each other by showcasing their attires. All the teams have put in their best efforts and hard work from arranging the attires to the choreographies.

Continuing this event, budding singer from city Shahnaz Akhtar will mesmerize the audience with his singing performances during late evening. He was one of the finalists of SA RE GA MA PA, a singing reality show.

Director General PCTE said, “The event is a scintillating bonanza of modern and traditional culture and heritage. The students are participating with full zeal and enthusiasm. Many more events are yet to be organized in the last day of the week long Festaweek.”
