BITTU DEMANDS PROBE AGAINST ERRING FACTORY OWNER IN LUDHIANA

ACCUSE HIM OF BLATANTLY VIOLATING THE PRESCRIBED NORMS
Ludhiana, November 21, 2017: Expressing profound grief and sorrow over the collapse of building in the city, the Lok Sabha MP from Ludhiana Mr.Ravneet Singh Bittu today said that stern action would be taken against the people responsible for this mishap.
In a statement issued here today, the Lok Sabha MP said that Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has ordered probe into the matter by Divisional Commissioner Patiala. The MP who along with the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh visited the site of mishap said that preliminary enquiry points towards the fact that the factory owner had blatantly violated the norms while the construction of this factory. He said that due to this violation the common people and the employees of the Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, lost their precious life.
The MP said that the probe by Divisional Commissioner would also look into the violations made by the owner. He said that probe would also cover the callousness on part of the various department, who were supposed to monitor the functioning of the factory, so that accountability of each of them could be fixed.
