Biomatiques becomes the first STQC certified Indian company

Mumbai, March 4, 2015: Biomatiques Identification Solutions Pvt. Ltd. became the first Indian manufacturing company to receive STQC certification by the STQC Directorate, Department of Information Technology, New Delhi.

 

Biomatiques is the first Indian company to introduce ‘Iris Recognition Technology’ in the country. Iris recognition method is an automated form of biometric identification that uses mathematical pattern-recognition techniques on video images of one or both of the irises of an individual's eyes, whose complex random patterns are unique, stable, and can be seen from some distance. Biometrics is the measurement of behavioral or physical attributes – how an individual smells, walks, signs their name, their voice, fingers, facial structure or patterns in the iris.

 

Biomatiques received the certification for their innovative Iris capturing device which is the most dependable technology for safety and security systems. It captures iris images from distance, is easy to operate and use by end users with the help of an optional capturing aid which provides iris images of exceptional quality compliant to ISO/IEC 19794-6 standards for both enrolment and verification.
