BetterThink Awards Rs 5 Lakh Worth Scholarships

Ludhiana, January 31, 2016: BetterThink, an English division of city’s Top Careers & You (TCY),  recently organised a scholarship  test for IELTS and PTE students  at its three centres – BetterThink Jagraon, BetterThink Chandigarh Road and BetterThink Dugri Road. 

 

The event evoked an enthusiastic response from about 200 students who took a written test in Writing and Reading modules.  In all 20 successful students, who scored over 6 bands, were awarded scholarships worth Rs. 5 lakhs in three different categories. 

 

The winners will be given up to 30 per cent course-fee discounts in any of their chosen study courses of BetterThink. The discounted fees are valid only until the end of this month.

 

According to BetterThink General Manager, Mrs. Gurpreet Wadhera, the objective of this Scholarship Test was to encourage our students to work harder on their grey areas as their scientific English teaching methodology is based on total student-centric approach aimed at excellent band scores in IELTS or  PTE. 

 

Following the test, students were given evaluation reports and a long discussion was held with faculty members.  Most of the students appreciated the doubt-clearing session which would help them do better in the actual exams.

 

It is worth noting that BetterThink, with 23 franchisee  centres (excluding company owned)  in  Punjab,  three in Jammu & Kashmir and one in Haryana, are currently  the leaders in study abroad preparation courses like International English Language Testing System (IELTS),  Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and recently introduced Pearson Test of English (PTE).
