BCM School Basant Avenue, Dugri hosted the 3rd Dr. Kalam Youth Summit B

Ludhiana, November 5, 2018: BCM School Basant Avenue, Dugri hosted the third edition of Dr.Kalam Youth Summit where 300 delegates representing 20 schools and 7 colleges participated. The school auditorium resonated with delight and excitement during the opening ceremony where Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria (Former Mayor) was the chief guest. Many diginitaries like HS Phoolka ( former Leader of Opposition Punjab Vidhan Sabha), Mrs Mamta Ashu ( Councillor), Mr Shobhan Soi (Chairman, Clay Pre Schools) , Mrs.Baljeet Kaur( Motivational Speaker) , Mr Sandeep Jindal( MD Black Buck) graced the three day event with their benign presence.
The students participated in different committees representing diverse nations and plunged into riveting debates. The Finale witnessed the felicitation of delegates where cash awards were clinched by 'Best Delegate', 'Best Photographer' , 'Best Journalist, 'Best Caricaturist' and 'Highly Commemdable Performance'. The school President, Mr. Suresh Munjal witnessed the concluding ceremony and congratulated students for being a part of such Summit and that too in the name of Dr. Abdul Kalam. Expressing her heart’s elation , the School Principal Dr. Vandna Shahi said that such events not only give students the opportunity to hone their oratory skills but also enhance their critical thinking, teamwork and leadership abilities.
