ARREST: 3 members of motor-cycle gang lifter arrested

Ferozepur, January 10, 2013:  The Ferozepur police got a grant success on recovery of 15 motorcycles with the  arrest of three members of lifters’ gang with the intensive patrolling to check the unscrupulous and anti-social elements under directions of SSP, Ferozepur.

Giving this information SHO Gurinderjit Singh informed that the police got a tip-off that the motorcycle gang lifters is active in the area of border village Bare Ke. 

He further said, the raids were conducted under the supervision of Ashwani Kumar and recovered two Hero Honda motorcycles from the possession of Gurpreet Singh alias Gora of village Workshop Bareke while his accomplice managed to escape.  Later on, as per the information and land marks given by the arrested person, Nishan Singh and Gurdeep Singh were also arrested and one Onkar Singh alias Kajjal is still absconding.  During the preliminary investigation, 15 motor cycles have been recovered from the arrested persons.  After registration of a case against Nishan Singh of Walian, Gurdip Singh of Chandiwala, Gurpreet Singh, Onkar Singh of Workshop Bareke further proceedings have been started in this case.
