Apeejay College of Fine Arts organises 37th convocation

Jalandhar, May 11, 2017: To distribute the academic degrees to its alumni for the session 2014-15, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar on Thursday organized 37th convocation in its premises. The occasion got blazed with the presence of Dr.R.K. Mahajan, Dean, College Development Council, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar as the Chief Guest. 606 students of diverse departments like Arts, Commerce, Computer Science, Design, Physiotherapy, Applied Art etc. were conferred upon them their degrees by the distinguished chief guest. On this gracious occasion, Dr. R.K. Mahajan also visited the College Art Gallery and highly commended the artistic skills of the students. He said Apeejay College is the best College under University and it helps in developing the overall personality of its students. He also heartily congratulated all the students on this momentous occasion.
Principal, Dr. Sucharita expressed her gratitude to Dr. R.K. Mahajan for gracing the occasion with his benign presence. She also presented the annual report of the college and threw light upon the glorious achievements of the college in academic, social, youth festival and artistic fields. She also wished that the students of the college would always touch the pinnacles of glory in their respective fields and continue to add feathers in its cap in the years to come.
