Model United Nations Conference At BCM School, Dugri

Ludhiana, May 31, 2017: An Intra School Model United Nations Conference (MUN) was held in BCM School, Basant Avenue, Dugri, Ludhiana which was attended by 50 students of MUN club. Different committees had different agendas to discuss like demonetization, radical Islamic fundamentalism, status of women in the world, NPT Nuclear proliferation Treaty, Attacks on BSF soldiers etc. Delegates put forth their point of views and interacted with their fellow delegates on lengthy agendas. The event helped the students to familiarize them with different topics of debate, encouraged academic research and enabled preparation for the conference. Overall, the event was a great success. The Principal Dr.Vandna Shahi remarked that participation in such events foster negotiation, speaking and communication skills; develop leadership qualities and ability to deal with unexpected situations.
