Annual Blood Donation Camp organised in B.D.Arya Girls College

Jalandhar, November 4, 2016: Annual Blood Donation Camp was organised in B.D.Arya Girls College, Jalandhar Cantt in collaboration with Civil Hospital, Jalandhar where the faculty and the students voluntarily donated blood. The endeavour was also supported by poster making competition, in which Ms.Kavita, Ms.Shivani and Ms.Manisha bagged Ist, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Ms.Sukhjinder and Ms.Ritu were awarded consolation prizes.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr (Mrs) Sarita Verma highlightrd the importance of blood donation which can help to save thousands of lives. She inspired the students to come forward and donate blood to safeguard life of others. She emphasized that humanity can be served in the best way by donating blood voluntarily. The students should fulfil deiligently their duty towards the society for uplifting the life of thousands.
