AIFUCTO to launch massive agitation against Union Govt from Feb 19 onwards

Jalandhar, February 5, 2019: A zonal meeting of the North Zone Teachers’ association of AIFUCTO was held at DAV college under the chairmanship of Zonal secretary Prof.Attar Singh. PCCTU President Dr.B.V.Sharma, Dr.Ghanshyam Dev, Vice President and Dr Sukhdev Singh Randhawa- General Secretary informed that in this meeting teachers from the North region i.e Delhi, Haryana,Punjab. Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir participated and discussed threadbare issues and challenges pertaining to the Teaching community. PCCTU unanimously passed the following resolutions ie Implementation of 7th Pay Commission with regulations in all the states after removing 6th Pay Commission anomalies at the earliest, massive participation in the AIFUCTO/FEDCUTA ‘Save Campus, Save Education, Save India” march on February 19, 2019 at New Delhi against the dilly dallying attitude of centre govt., withdrawal of NPS and restoration of Old Pension Scheme and regular recruitments on all vacant posts with full pay scales and allowances as per UGC guidelines at the earliest.
