ADMISSION for art and craft teacher training and Punjabi stenography starts from July 23

Chandigarh, July 17, 2013: Admissions for the Art and Craft Teacher Training Courses/Punjabi Stenography in the industrial training institute of the state would commence July 23.

Disclosing this here today a spokesman of the Technical Education Department said that admissions would continue till September 19. He said that the admissions would be done by the committee constituted under the chairmanship of Sub Divisional Magistrate of the area concerned.

He further said that the first counseling for the admissions in Government Industrial Institutes session-2013, would last from 23 to July 30, whereas second counseling would commence on August 12 would last till August 20. Similarly, the third counseling would be conducted from 13 to 19th September. He said that the courses for which the counseling would be conducted included Center of Excellence in Government Industrial Institutes, National Council for Vocational Training Courses and State Council for Vocational Training (Art and Craft Teacher Training Course/Punjabi Stenography Courses).

He said that to avail concession in non-refundable/tuition fee, candidates belonging to reserve categories, whose parents/guardians annual income was less than 2.5 lac, should bring self declaration from their guardians. He said that prospectus could get with the payment of Rs.75 from the respective institutions.
