ABOUT 400 specialists to be recruited by end of this month-Mittal

Chandigarh, July11, 2013: Punjab Congress has consistently lost series of elections in Punjab exposing their ‘Zero Base’ in the state. They just want to impress their central leadership by issuing irrelevant and baseless statements. Madan Mohan Mittal, Minster for Health and Family Welfare, Punjab, strongly reacting to the statement issued by the Punjab congress about the health services in the state said that Punjab Government is committed to provide best facilities to the patients in government hospitals. He said that there won’t be any shortage of doctors as about 400 Specialist doctors would be recruited by the end of this month.

Minister said that we are not just strengthening the present system but also activating ages Old Indian Medical System by recruiting Ayurvedic doctors in the state. He said that due to sincere efforts of the state government all medicines are being made available free in the government hospitals.

Minister said that SAD-BJP government is regularly recruiting doctors and other staff in the government hospitals whereas all recruitments were banned during the Congress regime.  

He added that Punjab Government has tied up with Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai to setup cancer units in the various government hospitals to eradicate Cancer.

Mittal said that People of Punjab have become mature enough and understand the real anti-Punjab face of the Congress who instead of appreciating good work of the SAD-BJP Government always tries to create hindrances in the development projects for the sake of pity politics. 

Minister clarified that Punjab government is fully committed to provide Health Services at nearest places to the people therefore doctors are transferred to facilitate people but congress is just playing politics on the issue for their vested interests.  He added that Congress is a party of leaders who never cares for the people and just sit in AC rooms and issue baseless statements.

Mittal also advised Congress leaders that they should first put their house in order as they do not have any leader in the state and individuals are busy in presenting himself a bigger leader than the other which media has also reported that congress leaders leveled charges against each other to their central leadership regarding this.

Mittal also reminded of the statement issued by the Central Minister Santosh Chaudry who herself recently said that Punjab government is in a process of strengthening 100 hospitals in the state under a specific programme. He added that the Zero Base Congress leaders just want to remain in news by issuing statements such as removing pictures of Chief Minister from 108 Ambulances. He said that instead of talking of such irrelevant issues double faced Congress should plead for central grants from the UPA government for the development of Punjab. He said that these Congress leaders have never asked for any package for Punjab which UPA is providing to Congress led states. Therefore this reflects the real face of the Congress and people of Punjab would teach them lesson in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
