70th Republic Day celebrated at Govt College for Girls

Ludhiana, January 26, 2019: The 70th Republic Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by the staff and students of Government College for Girls, Ludhiana here today. The officiating Principal of the College Mrs.Savita Sharma unfurled the national flag and paid rich tribute to the great freedom fighters. She congratulated all and one present there on this auspicious day. She spoke on the importance of Republic Day and sensitized all to work in unity for the development of the country. College Vice principal and head of Punjabi dept Mrs.Paramjit Kaur, Senior L.A., S.Sukhwant Singh and Watchman, S.Gurdev Singh were honoured for their untiring services in this college. NSS and student Council students also took part in it. Ladoos were distributed among the staff and students.
