66 years ago, I was given party membership by by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee: Shanta Kumar

Dharamshala, July 6, 2019: “66 years ago, I joined the BJP through sh Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and today the Bharatiya Janata Party has become the largest party in the world,” said senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar while addressing the workers present on the occasion of the inauguration of a membership drive program of BJP at Palampur 40-kms from here on Saturday.

He said that in order to fulfill the goal in membership campaign, the workers of the party should work day and night so that more and more people can join the Bharatiya Janata Party. He said that It is the coincident that on one hand the central government has given a great budget , on the other hand, this membership campaign has started on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.

Rajiv Bhardwaj, State Co-In-charge of the membership campaign said on this occasion that the party is moving forward with an idea and the basic purpose to take India to the ultimate glory, in which the membership campaign itself is a link to development. He said , “The way membership campaign has been started all over the country ,Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Is all set to break its own record of making maximum number of members.”

Many BJP leaders of the district were present on this occasion.
