3rd NE Youth Fest (NEYF) held at St. Stephen Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh successfully concluded

CHANDIGARH, November 22, 2017: The 3rd NE Youth Fest (NEYF) which was held at St.Stephen Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh successfully concluded with participation of thousand of NE youths.

Speaking at the inaugural, Liz Ross from the US, who is holding the post of Chief Operational Officer of Kara Partners, spoke about the unique role that every migrant person has to play well in places other than their own home town.

She emphasized the need of skill training especially soft skills and fluency in English and basic Hindi which can provide ample opportunities to the job seekers of North East. Further she appreciated the efforts of the organizers and congratulated the youth leaders of the Northeastern states for their tireless efforts in holding the fest.

Fr. Cyriac, Director, DBYC, Itanagar, in his presentation spoke about the beauty and uniqueness of NE and called upon students not to waste precious time in merrymaking, partying and exhorted them to abstain from all sorts of addictive habits and illegal activities.

The 3rd NEYF was organized by Don Bosco Youth Centre (DBYC), Itanagar, in collaboration with Don Bosco Navjeevan Society, Chandigarh, Bosco Net, New Delhi in collaboration with various NE student bodies of Chandigarh.
