3rd GIAN Workshop under CRICKS Programme concludes at PU

Chandigarh, October 29, 2016: Five day long tailored workshop by GIAN on the theme “Novel and Nanostructured Drug Delivery for Biomedical Applications” under the aegis of CRICKS concluded at CIL Seminar Hall, Panjab University (PU). Director SAIF/CIL Prof S.K.Mehta welcomed the gathering and highlighted the activities of CIL and series of workshops organized.
PU Vice Chancellor, Professor Arun K Grover graced the occasion and stressed upon the importance of quality education and congratulated the organizers on the successful completion of the workshop.
An eminent speaker from USA Prof.Mandip Sachdeva with expertise in diverse disciplines of nanostructured drug deliberated upon various aspects of the theme.
Prof. Sachdeva was felicitated for his pivotal contribution in training the young participants on various innovative Novel and Nanostructured Drug Delivery applications in lung delivery, cancer and delivery through skin surfaces.
In his address, Chairman, UIPS & Course Coordinator Professor Bhupinder Singh Bhoop briefed the participants and recapitulated the 5 days of this Workshop. He exhorted the young participants towards innovative strategies oriented towards medical needs
and technological breakthroughs.
Feedback from the participants was also invited. Director, RPC, Professor O P Katare also the course coordinator, proposed the Vote of Thanks for the success of the workshop.
