Ludhiana, September 27, 2016: 240 Units of Blood was donated at 13th (2 Day) Blood Donation Cum Awareness Camp organised by Social Workers Association at PAU.
Camp was Inaugurated jointly by S.Upkar Singh Ahuja Chairman Punjab Small Industrial Development Board, General Secretary CICU and Didarjit Singh Lotey (Press Secretary CICU) CICU Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings
S.Upkar Singh Ahuja praised the efforts of the young team and motivated the donors present for this noble cause.
President Gurshaminder Singh told Media that Each Donor was honoured with 1 Sampling for contribution to Green Revolution.
Blood Count and Blood Group test was also conducted free of cost.
Camp was supported by Team of doctors from DMC Hospital, Ludhiana by Dr. Rajesh.
Present on the Occasion, included Jasvir Singh Dahelay, Karamjit Singh Birdi, Baljit Kaur Birdi, Bikramjit Singh, Sumita Bhalla, Tarsem Singh, Parminder Singh, Sandeep Singh, Gagandeep Kaur, Gurvinder and Gurbaksh.
Gurshaminder also shared his Idea to make Thelesemia free city and informed that Association will also organise Awareness Cum test drive for Thelesemia detection.
