150 attend free heart checkup camp at Ambala

Ambala, September 29, 2018: As many as 150 patients attended a free heart check-up camp at Ambala Club today . The camp was organized by Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula to mark World Heart Day. During camp, Dr Shashi Jindal, chief cardiovascular surgeon & thoracic surgeon and Dr Shailesh Ojha, cardiac intensivist provided free consultation to the patients. The patients were also offered free blood sugar and ECG tests during camp. Speaking during occasion, Dr Jindal advised patients how they could keep their heart healthy with regular exercise, weight control along with a healthy diet and regular relaxation. He also made aware the people about the diet which was healthy for their heart. He further said that if you don’t eat a good diet and you don’t exercise, you are at increased risk of developing health problems. These include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.”
