102 units of blood donated

Ludhiana, September 30, 2012: Shri Ram Sharnam Trust Organised a blood donation camp on the birthday of Pujya PitaJi Maharaj in association with Salaam Zindagi Foundation today.

This camp was dedicated to support the Thalasemic children.

In this camp doctors team from Blood Bank of CMC&H coordinated. A total 102 units of blood was collected. Also blood sugar camp was organised in coordination with Deep Hospital in which 200 people were provided the sugar check up.

Parveen Bansal, President, District Unit of BJP inaugurated the camp and emphasised on the need of youth participating in such social activities with the aim of creating a healthier society and supporting the thalasemic patients also.

Devinder Sood assured to conduct such social activities at Shri Ram Sharnam Trust Daresi Road on regular basis in future.

Manjit Saini, President of Salaam Zindagi Foundation thanked to the Shri Ram Sharnam Trust Daresi Road. 

Among others, Baldeep Singh Nagi, Anurag Kalhan, Sandeep Surjan, Balkar, V.K Bhnot, Raj Kumar, Mandeep Rawat, Kewal Malhotra, Manoj Gautam and Parlaad were present.
