1001st Free Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp

Ludhiana, October 5, 2014: Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust Organised Free Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp on Sunday at Viklang Sahayta Kender, Rishi Nagar, Ludhiana. Artificial Limbs, Calipers, Crutches, Tricycle & hearing aid were given to 25 physically challenged persons.

Dr Rajesh Mannan State President presided the function. Taranjit Singh Niwana, President Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Mission Sewa Society and Surjit Singh Walia, Retired Income Tax Officer were guest of Honour. They appreciated the efforts of Bharat Vikas Parishad in mitigating the sufferings of handicapped persons.

Ajay Sharma Finance Secretary said that Trust has organized 1000 camps in which artificial limbs, Calipers, Crutches, Tricycle & Hearing aids were provided to more than 41500 physically handicapped persons. The Trust also organised Polio Surgery Camps, in which 2080 polio operations have been done successfully. Trust has also organised Nasha Mukti Camp & Medical Camp.

He further informed that Trust will establish modern workshop for manufacture of Artificial Limbs and hosiery training centre will be started with the help of NSIC very soon.  

Pankaj Jindal informed the audience & beneficiaries about the work done by Bharat Vikas Parishad under its Sewa & Sanskar Projects. J.P Gupta President Trust thanked the guests.

Neelam Gupta, Aruna Puri, R.P Gupta, Tripta Mehta, Upkar Singh, R.K. Walia, Ramesh Sharma, B.K Bhalla and Members of Bharat Vikas Parishad were present on this occasion.
