DMCH & Hero DMC Heart Institute Conducts Multi-specilaity Free Check-up Camp At Haibowal Khurd

Ludhiana, October 15, 2017: Hero DMC Heart Institute & DMCH holds a Free Check Camp on Sunday (15 OCT 2017) at Mata Gujri Gurudwara, Haibowal Khurd - Ludhiana. which is Organised by Moksh welfare society(regd) Ludhiana.
Senior doctors of HDHI and DMCH had participated in this camp. Dr.Bhupinder Singh, DM- Cardiologist & Dr.Amit verma of Hero DMC heart institute, Dr.Pooja Tandon (Gynaecologist) , Dr.Shekhar Singal (Ortho) & Dr.Kanika Jindal (Dentist) of DMCH examined the patients during the camp.
Around 265 patients were examined during the camp. Along with the required medical advice, free Blood Pressure , Random blood sugar and ECG was done and free medicines has been provided to all the patients who had come to get free medical check-up in the camp.
Heart diseases are increasing at an alarming rate in the urban centres. It is being said to be the biggest killer in India replacing the communicable diseases. Increased use of tobacco and rise in the cases of diabetes has made Indians prone to coronary diseases. People need to be educated about the need for regular heart check-up to take preventive measures.” said Dr. Bhupinder Singh, Cardiologist, Hero DMC Heart Institute.
A diet counselling was also done by Dt. Pardeep Kaur Dhillon of HDHI during the camp , according to patient disease condition and patients were advised to follow prescribed diet routine to keep their heart healthy and to live a healthy lifestyle.
Members of Organising Society said that the main purpose of Camp was to bring awareness on heart and other general ailments besides providing them prevention and treatment tips for healthy life.
At the end of the camp token of appreciation were distributed to all members of Hospital who were participated in the camp.
