Contemplation session on Ramcharit Manas concludes

Shimla, June 18, 2017: The seven day long contemplation session on Ramcharit Manas concluded at Rajbhawan today. Shri Kuldeep Arya and other members of the recital group presented various values and virtues of Lord Shri Ram and made environment devotional.

Chief Guest, Health, and Family Welfare Minister Shri Kaul Singh Thakur initiated today's session by lighting the ceremonial lamp with Governor Acharya Devvrat. Shri Kaul Singh honoured Shri Kuldeep Arya and other members of the recital group.

On this occasion, Shri Kuldeep Arya recited the glorious journey of destroying demons by Lord Shri Ram during the exile. He presented a musical presentation of Ramayan till the killing of Ravan.

The Governor thanked all the devotees to attend this session during the past seven days. He said that the virtues of lord Ram and lord Krishna were very much relevant in present days and people can infuse moral values in society by adopting their teachings. He said that the new generation was not familiar with our enriched culture and the youth must follow these teachings to develop the state as well as nation.

Justice Dharam Chand Chaudhary, Justice Vivek Singh Thakur, Justice Sandeep Sharma, Justice Chander Bhushan Barowalia of H.P. High Court, Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Shrikant Baldi and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
