Chandigarh, May 28, 2017: Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) has completed half a century of its existence. CMA celebrated its Golden Jubilee with immense pride and deep sense of responsibility in Chandigarh at late evening on Saturday. To mark the occasion CMA honored it’s all Past Presidents and Local Management Association from Punjab & Haryana. Shri Pradeep Singh, CEO & Deputy Dean, Indian School of Business was the guest of honour on the occasion. Dr.Aneet Bedi, President, CMA and Director, GianJyoti Group presided over the function.
Dr.Aneet Bedi, President, CMA and Director, GianJyoti Group while speaking on the occasion said, “The occasion is an important milestone in the life of an Association dedicated to the cause of spreading management throughout in the northern region. 50 years is a good span of life to look back on the previous performance and introspect on the contributions made in strengthening the cause of management, entrepreneurship, and corporate social responsibility. Since its inception, CMA has been maintaining the high standards of professionalism and decorum in conduct – be it training programs for the micro, small and medium enterprises of the region or awareness camps for citizens, investors, consumers, service providers”.
She further added that the Chandigarh Chapter of All India Management Association (AIMA) has been contributing in its own small way by being an important cog in this growth wheel. She informed that it would be association’s endeavour to keep up with the faith that has been shown in us by all our stakeholders.
Large number of CMA members, people from industry and academia attended the event. The associations who graced the occasion included Panchkula Management Association, Jalandhar Management Association, Patiala Management Association, Pathankot Management Association, Yamuna Nagar Jagadhri Management Association, Bathinda Management Association, Phagwara Management Association, Amritsar Management Association.
