“She Ek Udaan” A Fight Against Cancer charity show rocks Ludhiana

Ludhiana, October 7, 2018: “She- Ek Udaan” A fight against cancer took place on 6th October at Shri Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan Ludhiana. Programme was started with Dance Vandana. Event commenced with the Lamp Lighting ceremony by ACP, S.Surinder Mohan Singh, Mr.Venkat Vatsyayan, Mr.Vivan Singh Gill, Dr.Harpreet Brar, Director Fortis Hospital Ludhiana, La-femme Fortis Hospital Ldh, .J.S Sekhon, Director, Oncosciences, FHL, Dr.Harish Matta, Ms.Amarjeet Kaur, Founder - RK Communication and Mr.Raman Goyal, President Helping Hands Club NGO and others.Event was done under the supervision of Dr.J.S Sekhon, Director Onco- Sciences Fortis Hospital Ludhiana. Draped in dreams and beauty, leaving behind the hurdles in their life, 11 slum area’s females from Ludhiana walked. Laxmi Aggarwal, An acid attack survivor and Women of courage, hosted the show along with Mr.Ripu Daman Mahajan. While speaking on the occasion Laxmi said, “I am very grateful to the RK Communication family for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to be the part of this noble cause. Survivors walked the ramp in gorgeous attires, which was then followed by a choreography depicting story of survivors from being victims to fighters in society. Panellists of the event were Dr.J.S Sekhon , Director Onco Sciences, Fortis Hospital Ldh, Dr.Arti Tuli, Associate Professor and Gynaecologist, CMC, ldh, Dr. Parveen Kaur, Radiation Oncologist, FHL, Dr.Harish Matta, Onco Surgeon, FHL and Dr.Jasmeet Dhingra, Gastroenterologist, SPS Hospital, Ludhiana. Mr Raman Goyal, , said that Helping Hands Club NGO team is performing in various social activities for last 8 years and also helping cancer patients from last few years. This is a memorable day as we are proud to be a part of those people who fought the ultimate battle and won and they are real champions. Another highlight of the event was dance performances by children of “RK Fitness Studio and Dance Academy”. Parton Dr. J.S Sekhon Director Oncosciences, FHL, chief welcomed all for supporting this social cause with great spirit. Free liver disease and liver Cancer screening assessment was also done during the event The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Harish Matta.
