YES FOUNDATION wins the prestigious Fulcrum Award for the Best CSR Campaign

Mumbai, September 26, 2017: YES FOUNDATION, the social development arm of YES BANK, was awarded Best CSR Campaign – Gold in The Technique Category at The Fulcrum Awards 2017. The Foundation received this significant recognition for its flagship program, YES! i am the CHANGE, the World’s Largest Social Film Movement, which is a mindset transformation program inculcating the value of responsible citizenship amongst youth through the impactful medium of films.
As part of the 101-Hour Social Filmmaking Challenge, youth create 3-minute films on a variety of social topics, mainly UN Sustainable Development Goals, which serve as invaluable communication resources for NGOs. Most importantly, the process of participation and exposure to various social causes triggers inner transformation in the youth and makes them agents of social change.
Ms. Prerana Langa, CEO, YES FOUNDATION said, “We are honoured to receive the prestigious Fulcrum Award. We strongly believe that to bridge gaps in the ecosystem and to amplify social impact, it is imperative to trigger the collective consciousness of the youth. Towards this, we are committed to work as a catalyst in developing social youth leadership by promoting responsible citizenship across India.”

YIAC was shortlisted as the winner after being through a rigorous selection process. The jury was looking for clear objectives, creative and effective implementation and tangible and demonstrable results.
The Fulcrum Awards said, “At our end, we followed the due process and looked at entries that created impact by the PR Programme and Campaign via innovations in both thought and execution. Different award segments had different eligibility and entry criteria and the jury chose to respect the stated parameters and focused on outcomes rather than output, giving due credit to overall business impact.”
Other winners for Best CSR Campaign were initiatives by Titan (Silver) and Godrej & Boyce (Bronze).
YES! i am the CHANGE was launched in 2013 and saw a participation of 2100 youth from 64 cities. In a short span of four years, the program engaged with over 13 lakh individuals from 2,500 cities and towns across India and received a record-breaking 29,500 social films for the free use of NGOs.
