Yeh Vaada Raha completes 200 episodes!

ZEE TV's primetime drama Yeh Vaada Raha has successfully struck a chord with the audiences bringing the story of Kartik and Survi who are bound by a promise. The show recently completed a run of 200 episodes and the entire cast and crew planned a grand celebration on the sets and danced the night away to foot-tapping numbers.
The entire set was lit-up and everybody was decked up for the evening. The double century had everybody letting their hair down and burning the dance floor. Joining the celebrations along with Rinku Karmarkar (Taai), Ankush Arora (Kartik), Sonal Vengurlekar (Survi) were the latest additions to the cast - the two little kids, Harbandanaand Tamanna Dipak who play Kartik and Survi’s daughter Khushi and niece Riya respectively. The tiny tots were also seen all dressed up, hopping around and enjoying the revelry.
However, it was Rinku Karmarkar who stole the show. Despite a foot injury, the actor was in high spirits and brought the house down with her latkas and thumkas on some popular dance numbers. Speaking about the milestone, Rinku shared, ‘It feels amazing to have received so much love and adulation from the fans. The credit of the success goes to the writers, our producers and the entire cast and crew who from the past eight months have been working with utmost dedication to make the show work. It is so much fun now to shoot on the sets as we have three kids working us. While partying, I felt like one of them and had a blast. The character of Taai is quite eccentric and very challenging to portray on-screen. This character will always remain very special to me and hope we soon complete 500 episodes so that we can have another mad, crazy dance party’.
Ankush Arora further adds, ‘’It’s always good to see your hard work and perseverance paying off and this milestone stands testimony to our collective effort. Honestly, I was quite excited about the celebration and even went shopping for it a day prior. The production has organized a fun-filled party where we just ate and danced till the wee hours. I have grown as an actor in the past eight months and it’s been a very enriching and fulfilling journey as Kartik. I just hope the audience continues to shower us with love’’.
Recently, the show took a 7-year leap and the estranged couple Kartik and Survi have finally come face to face due to a turn of events. Currently, on the show the track revolves around Kartik laying out various traps and pushing Survi to confess that Khushi is their daughter.
