Workshop on Raspberry Pie and Internet

Ludhiana, February 6, 2016: Department of Computer Applications of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GGNIMT), Ludhiana, on Friday organised a seminar cum workshop on “Prevalent and upcoming Technologies”. The seminar was conducted to have brief demonstration of Internet of Things (IOT), Raspberry Pi, Rapid Web development etc. Mr. Anshul of Ansh Infotech Ludhiana, explained the importance of Internet of things and how in the very near future it is going to change the way humans interact with things around them, be it AC or Refrigerator or car etc. He also explained the development using Raspberry Pi and introduced the concept of Rapid Web Development. The students of BCA and MCA gained thoughtful insights into the latest in the world of computing and how they can use these technologies to enhance their job and placement prospects.

Director of the Institute Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra presented a memento to the resource person and Principal Dr. P. S. Khattra proposed a vote of thanks. Other dignitaries present were various Heads of the Departments.
