DIPSIANS Win 16 Medals In CBSE Cluster Athletics; 12 Students Selected For National Athletic Meet

Jalandhar, October 12, 2016: DIPSIANS OF different schools have proved their caliber by showing their excellent performance in CBSE cluster athletics meet which was held at police DAV public school from 7th to 10th October. In this competition our 12 have been students selected for the national athletic meet to be held in Gujarat . we won16 medals- 5 gold, 8 silver and 3 Bronze in the CBSE cluster . Students of DIPS Nurmahal in under 17 category Danver singh won gold medal in shot put and bronze medal in discus throw . Varinder Singh won silver in 100 m, and Manver Singh won bronze in shot put in under 14 . DIPS Suranusi Kanweer Ajayraj won gold in Jevlin Throw, Aharshpreet Singh won silver in shot put and silver in discus throw in the under 17 category, Amandeep Singh won silver in shot put in under 19 category. DIPS Karol Bagh Manpreet Bali won gold in 5000m, Baljit Singh won gold in javelin throw, Gurpreet Sanga won bronze in discus throw in under 19. Dips Begowal’s Mehakdeep Singh won gold in 1500 m in under 17, Jagpinder Singh won silver in javelin throw under in 19, Gurpreet Singh won silver in 100 m race under in 14 category. DIPS Dhilwan student Amarveer Kaur won silver in discus throw girls under in the 19 category. DIPS Hariana student Sumit Kaur won silver medal in high jump under in the 17 category for girls. On this wonderful performance, winners of DIPS chain of institutions have been praised and congratulated by worthy chairman s. Gurbachan singh,and M.D S.Tarwinder Singh.
