Warm Monday in Delhi, Tuesday to be cloudy

New Delhi, July 7 (IANS) Delhi experienced a warm Monday with the maximum temperature recorded at 38 degree Celsius, two notches above the season's average. The met department has forecast a cloudy Tuesday with light rain in some parts of the city.

"The skies will be sunny in the morning but will turn cloudy noon onwards", said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 39 degree and 28 degrees Celsius.

The minimum temperature Monday settled at 26.8 degrees Celsius.

Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 37 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 28.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
