Wanted Criminal Nabbed By Ferozepur Police

Ferozepur, March 22, 2018: A wanted criminal involved in cases of murder and robbery was arrested by the police in Ferozepur.
Giving details, Pritam Singh, SSP said that the accused Malook Singh, resident of Dholewala was booked in a murder case in which he had allegedly murdered seven persons in 1994 (Sections 302, 34 IPC 25/54/59 Arms Act at Dharamkot police Station). The SSP said that he was given death penalty by the court however later his death penalty was converted into life time imprisonment. “Malook was released on parole in 2009. After few months, he along with is companions, allegedly robbed Rs.12.45 lakh from Zira branch of Allahabad Bank following which a case under sections 395, 342 IPC 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at Zira police station on May 20, 2011. In this case, Malook was declared proclaimed offender”, said SSP. “Malook was eluding police for the last several years. Now he was arrested by the Zira police”, said SSP.
The SSP said besides these two cases, Malook was allegedly involved in several other cases of theft at Dharamkot and Makhu police stations. “He was also declared PO in two other cases lodged in Gurdaspur and Amritsar (Rural) districts.
