Ludhiana, September 25, 2015: Verka, the flagship brand of MILKFED, took the largest agriculture event, Kisan mela by storm with its wide range of products. Kisan Mela is an annual mela conducted by the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in Ludhiana. This mela exhibits new techniques of farming to the farmers as well as sell new hybrid quality seeds of food grains to them. The Mela includes agro-industrial exhibitions, field demonstrations and question-answer sessions, provision of diagnostic services and sale of farm literature. The farmers from different parts of the state eagerly participate in the mela.

It also displayed the dairy products including different variants of Pasteurized Packed milk, Ghee, Table Butter, Cheese, Tetra Pack Products, Sweetened Flavored Milk, Ice Cream, Fresh Products like Lassi, Paneer, Dahi, Kheer and Indigenous Sweets.
