Valedictory programme of 111th Orientation Course sponsored by UGC and conducted by HRDC, PU

Chandigarh, June 22, 2016: The Valedictory programme of the 111th Orientation Course sponsored by the UGC and conducted by the Human Resource Development Centre, Panjab University (PU) held today. Professor Sudhir Kumar, an eminent Professor delivered the Valedictory address in which he emphasized that all our projects whether, literary, academic, intellectual or material should be geared towards the transformation of the society into a holistic and dynamic society. It is our bounden duty to contribute towards the welfare of the society, howsoever small the contribution may be.
PU Director, UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, Professor Karamjeet Singh expressed his happiness to share that in this programme, 52 Assistant Professors participants belonging to Colleges and Universities Jammu Kashmir, Orissa, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh participated in the course. They belonged to 18 different disciplines.
Most of the participants expressed that the course has provided an unbiased, non-political platform to discus and learn about pedagogy.
