Khanna, April 1, 2015: Some unidentified thieves struck at an ATM of a bank and tried to loot it by tying security guard but they failed to take any cash.
As per information some unidentified persons reached at an ATM of State Bank of India at Rahon Road village Jharoudi near Shri Machhiwara and tied the security guard Jagdeep Singh. As per Jagdeep Singh three persons came inside ATM room and tied him.
As per guard later the robbers broke the wires of CCTV and DVR and take it away. As per him the robbers tried to broke open the safe of ATM but failed. He stated that smoke started coming out room due to spark of broken wires and the robbers left the space. As per guard he dialled the number of police station with difficulty and a police party reached at the site soon.
According to SHO Darshan Singh the police party opened the tied guard. SHO said that they have registered a case against unidentified persons in this regard and are investigating the case.
