Chandigarh, March 21, 2015: Two-day National Conference on Optimisation Modelling and Machine Learning Techniques, commenced in the Department of Mathematics, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh here today.
The 70 academicians mainly from Mathematics and Computer Science areas participated in the conference.
The conference was inaugurated by Prof I B S Passi and presided over by PU DUI Prof A K Bhandari and Chairperson Department of Mathematics, Prof Savita Bhatanagar.
The eminent invited speakers include Prof Devinder Bhatia, Dr Pankaj Gupta, Dr C S
Lalitha and Dr Promila Kumar from Delhi University, Prof Suresh Chandra and Dr Aparna Mehra from IIT Delhi, Dr Vivek Singh and Dr Jagdish Bansal from South Asian University, Delhi. Prof Vanita Verma of Mathematics and Dr Anuj Sharma of Computer Science & Applications department of PU are the conveners of this conference. / (SK Vyas, Jalandhar)
